30 DAY REACH 308

My Pin-Up Anatomy series is a spin on the classic pin-up girl. The poses, facial expressions and attire (or lack of) is reminiscent of the 1950's pin-up girls. The difference, are the anatomical features. The point of removing the skin of certain body parts is to humanize and de-sexualize the female form. To see what lies underneath is not that different from the male form.

Multi-layered mixed media collage on a hand-made panel made from reclaimed cedar barnboard. Barnboard panel is sealed. Corners are protected with metal corner guards. Thickness is approximately 5/8". Top coated in gloss polycrylic. Signed on back, initials on front.
